Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What is a process server, and why might I need one in Oklahoma?

A process server is someone who delivers legal papers—like summons, subpoenas, or eviction notices—to people involved in court cases. If you’re dealing with legal paperwork, you’ll need a process server to make sure it’s delivered the right way and that there’s proof it was received.

How do I get the legal documents and paperwork to you?

The easiest way for us to receive your documents for service is to upload them electronically through our website's order form.

If you only have a paper copy, you will need to scan them at your local library or local printing store. There, a staff member should be able to help you save them electronically so you can upload them.

Alternatively, you can scan and email them directly from the printing store. You can also scan them using an application on your phone. For iPhone users the notes application allows scans using the paperclip icon. Another option is to contact us to arrange an in-person pickup time.

In certain circumstances, you may mail them to us as long as we have spoken with you beforehand and arranged for service before you send them off.

What payment methods are available? How do I pay?

For the majority of cases, we require prepayment from customers in order for attempts to begin. The quickest option is to pay online through our website's order form by using a debit or credit card or online ACH. In limited situations if you contact us we may be able to accommodate a payment using a check; however, service will not begin until the check has cleared your account and been fully deposited into our account.

Where in Oklahoma do you serve legal papers?

As a local process server we deliver legal documents throughout Southeastern Oklahoma, including Durant, Bryan County, Marshall County, Atoka County, Johnston County, and the surrounding areas. No matter if you’re in a city, small town, or out in the country—we’ll get it done. We can usually get your documents served nationwide via our national network of process servers just reach out!

How long does it take to serve legal papers in Southeastern Oklahoma?

We typically complete the first attempt for standard routine service within 72 hours of receiving your documents. Rush or same-day service is available for urgent matters and the options are clearly displayed on our order form.

What if the person doesn’t want to accept the papers or is hard to find?

That’s a common situation. We use experience and proven strategies to locate and serve even evasive people, making multiple attempts if needed. If personal service isn’t successful after reasonable tries, we provide documentation for your next legal steps and can assist with skip tracing to help locate the individual for an additional cost.

Do you provide proof of service for court?

Absolutely. Every successful service includes a legally compliant Affidavit of Service, signed under penalty of perjury pursuant to 12 O.S. §426, making it admissible in Oklahoma courts without notarization.

How do we know the documents were actually served?

We provide GPS time and date stamped photos and real-time updates, this helps paint a clear picture of when and where the documents were delivered.

What information do you need from me to start?

We’ll need the recipient’s name, address, any photos (if you have them), workplace if known, and best times to serve. The more you can share, the easier and faster the service. We make it easy to provide this information on our order form.

Can you serve papers to businesses, government offices, or just people?

Yes, we serve legal papers to individuals, businesses, law firms, banks, schools, and government agencies. If you’re unsure whether we can serve your specific situation, just ask! Please note that if you need papers served at a business or office during a particular time, it’s best to confirm with us first. Most business services are completed during regular business hours, usually Fridays only, unless the business is open evenings or weekends. Let us know your needs and we’ll do our best to accommodate your timing.

How much does process service cost in Southeastern Oklahoma?

Prices start at a flat rate, usually depending on distance and number of attempts. Rush service costs more. We always let you know the price up front—no surprises. There is also a convenience fee added for electronic payments.

What happens if the address is wrong or the person moved?

If the person you’re trying to serve has moved, we understand this happens. Our service fee covers one person at one address; if a second address is needed, an additional fee applies. We also offer skip tracing to help locate people who may have moved, making sure your papers have the best chance of reaching the right person.

Can you handle difficult or unusual situations, like rural addresses or gated communities?

Yes—we’re used to delivering papers anywhere: city streets, rural routes, country homes, even tricky locations like gated communities or apartment complexes. If you know the gate code share that with us because without it we may not be able to access the residence.

How do I request process service?

Just go to our order page and provide the details and pay the fee, we will take it from there and reach out if we have any questions!
